FRC Group can trace its humble yet ambitious beginnings to 1977 with its original company, Filter Research Corp (FRC) based in Palm Bay, Florida.  FRC grew to become a strong designer and manufacturer of electronic filters for various commercial and military electronics customers. FRC also quickly built an impeccable reputation within the industry.  After its first expansion in 1993, FRC Group’s portfolio grew to include multiple, diverse manufacturing facilities in the US, as well as overseas.  A major competitive advantage of FRC is its vertical integration, with various supporting processes and capabilities in-house, such as: plastics injection molding, machining, subcontract assembly, encapsulating, and painting.

Since 1977, FRC’s product base has expanded to include products ranging from magnetics and decorated plastic components/assemblies, to communication and navigation antennas.  FRC’s value-added services include a wire preparation department, a Grade A paint facility that provides silk-screening and hot stamping, as well as a machining facility hosting conventional machining operations along with numeric controlled lathes, mills, and machining centers. All of these processes are backed by engineering, quality and test departments, which support manufacturing with state-of-the-art equipment.

In 2020, to address the surging demand during the global outbreak of COVID-19, FRC Group (under its FRC Medical Division) made significant investments in a number of existing FRC facilities in the US as well as overseas. FRC Medical quickly ramped up production to manufacture millions of Face Masks and Face Shields in both the United States and abroad.  In addition, FRC Group is developing other new products within the FRC Medical line that will soon be ready for large-scale production and market distribution.
